Surgical Procedures

At Mars Hill Animal Hospital, we offer a full range of surgical services. We believe that safety and pain management is not optional for our pet patients any more than it would be for human patients. Therefore, we have established a very strict protocol for all surgical patients. Pre-anesthetic lab work, IV Fluids, and Pain Control are standard for all surgical patients.

Our surgical suite is equipped with a ventilator, a gas anesthetic machine, and state of the monitors that continuously monitor blood pressure, heart rate and rhythm, and oxygen levels of the tissues. Most importantly, your special companion is monitored constantly by a trained veterinary technician while under anesthesia.
